I have discovered something about myself in the last 24 hours. Im a picky eater.
I dont like capscium, I dont like cucumber, and I dont like salads other people put together (generally).
I have taken delivery of my primal foods meals, for the rest of the week, and so far it has been delicious, the meat and veggie part. The salad on the other hand, ho hum, but its not that its not good or wilted or rubbish – I just dont like it.
Todays lunch was chicken breast and nicoise salad. I ate most of the lettuce, the egg, but couldnt eat the cold green beans. Salad yesterday was a greek salad. I ate the onion, the spinach, the olives and tomato, but not the cucumber.
My favourite salad combination would have to be baby spinach, spanish onion, mushrooms, goats cheese and tomato. nothing more nothing less.
Luckily my pickiness only extends to salad, and not veggies, unless its brussell sprouts, chokos, or witloffs. I dont eat any of the melons either…
Reading this back, it would appear that I am incredibly weird…..
On an upside, primal foods is definitely working. Ive lost 2kg this week alone!! I know its mostly water weight, but it will be interesting to see what happens over the 12 weeks!!
